I just installed version 1.0.
I registerd it on my X864 Windows 11 NoteBook
I couldn't compile or run any of the existing widgets. What did I do wrong?
What are the dependencies? Are system-local definitions or operating system effective?
The error I usually get is
'Syntax Error: There is no accessible member with name "inheritsFrom" for type TQTXComponent [line 1880, column 14, file qtx.dom.widgets]'
... etc.
This sounds very strange. I just installed on a fresh machine (just to be 100% sure, we have already tested before we pushed to the release process), downloaded packages etc, opened up the calculator project, hit build, and no issues.
Have you tried downloading the packages again and restarting the IDE?
Alternatively:
Download again, install, make sure you check all the packages in the update dialog, then restart the IDE regardless.
Also: switch to the "run-time library" tab (far right in the window, next to structure), and make sure all the RTL packages are mounted:
I have re-installed application and packages several times.
Trying to figure out what is happening here. To start the investigation I have deleted all your license registrations with us, this to get a totally clean start of every aspect of the installation.
Before you try anything else please uninstall the application and then MANUALLY delete these folder as well, if they still exist:
- C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\qtx
- C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\dwc.exe.WebView2
- C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Programs\Quartex Pascal IDE
Then download the installer and reinstall from scratch.
Sorry for the inconvenience and hope this will get you started. Please let us know if it worked or not or if you experience other issues.
@mucahit-yagmurgmail-com We have found the bug and fixed it here. We are issuing a new build now -- glad we found it!
I had a similar problem as of tuday 11/1/2025 but on second startup it was fixed.
